What Flowers Will Be In Season For My Wedding?

One of the most popular questions I receive when it comes to discussing wedding flowers is "what flowers are in season?", or "I love peonies, will they be in season?". So I decided to write this guide to help you all with wedding planning!

The goal of this seasonal flower guide is to be as comprehensive as possible, divided by seasons and those flowers that are typically available all year round. Depending on where you are located in the world, the season for any given month will change, which is why I've avoided using particular 'months' as it can get so confusing.

Another thing to bear in mind is that the season changes a lot these days, with global warming and the erratic weather conditions. Since flowers are driven so much by weather conditions, sometimes something that's typically growing in Summer may extend to the typical Autumn months because it's still so hot.

And don't forget about imports! Whilst I like to use locally grown flowers for brides as much as possible, import flowers are still available for some that must have a particular flower - think peonies in winter! As a result of this, it might seem like all flowers are available nearly all the time ;)
