The roots of Lime Tree Bower come from our fascination and passionate love with mother nature's finest: flowers. Our fondness for nature and the garden-inspired scenes of some of the greatest fine art painters in the world feeds our inspiration.
We consider floral design to be art in itself, and with that, the selection process of particular floral varieties and the mindful placement of each stem in an arrangement, enables us to create "art" with flowers.
Our approach to working with you involves initially learning about your event's purpose and style, and all about you, so we can be sure to evoke that into the flowers. Working as a team, we collaborate with you to create floral magic for your event, whether it be your wedding, birthday party or just a special occasion to let your hair down! This includes and is not limited to:
- Bridal party flowers, such as bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets and flower girl posies
- Buttonholes / boutonnières, wrist and pin corsages
- Flower crowns
- Ceremony flowers, such as pew ends, floral arch installations, arch-less ceremony backdrops, altar / plinth arrangements, signing table flowers, chuppah floral decor, mandap floral decor
- Reception flowers, such as guest table arrangements, bridal table flowers, welcome area installations, suspended ceiling installations, cake flowers

Frequently asked questions
I'm getting married for the first time. I'm not sure what I actually need to consider when it comes to flowers, can you help me?
Sure thing! We've tried to make your life easier with this Wedding Flowers Checklist, which should help guide you through what floral decor you might want to have as part of your wedding.
So how much do wedding flowers typically cost?
This varies a lot depending on each wedding - what you're after, the type of flowers and if it's in season, the size and scope of what you'd like to have, etc. We tailor quotes to each person individually based on what they are after. You'll likely receive quotes across a big spectrum if you enquire across several businesses - this is completely normal, since everyone is priced differently based on experience, level of design quality and pricing strategies.
Do you charge "extra" just because it's a wedding?
No. There is no such thing as a "wedding tax" - this is a myth. Each event, whether it be a wedding or not, is completely different, depending on what flowers, the volume, the scope, the location and the amount of on-site work there needs to be done. You might be wondering why a typical bouquet you buy from your local florist shop down the road is $50 but you're being quoted 3-4x this for your wedding bouquet. This is because there is so much more bespoke design, planning, and care that's involved in creating your wedding bouquet, that it's at a much higher level (and cost) than a seasonal bouquet that's just being assembled using whatever the florist has decided to choose to buy that morning.
What flowers will be in season during my wedding or event?
We try to use as much seasonal and locally grown flowers as we can. You can use our Seasonal Flower Guide to get an indicative idea of what is usually in season for your wedding date.
