Returns & Refunds
Lime Tree Bower does not issue refunds or returns based on customer change of mind. Refunds will only be given if an item arrives damaged or faulty. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item.
Fresh Flowers
As fresh flowers are perishable by nature, the life span of all flowers will vary and be subject to variables such as type, weather, etc. All our flowers are selected fresh from the markets and are subject to availability. Our photos online are examples and will often change depending on seasonality.
By caring for your flowers correctly, you should expect an average 5-7 day lifespan depending on the specific variety. To help them last as long as possible, we recommend cutting stems daily on a 45° angle, and keeping the water in the vase clean (changing it every 1-2 days). We recommend spraying phalaenopsis orchids and hydrangeas to keep them for longer, they love being drenched and can be fully submerged in water to soak overnight.
Heat and humidity, air conditioning, proximity to fruit and climate changes will affect how flowers behave in different environments. We deliver our flowers wrapped wet alongside extra water, to ensure they can stay as hydrated as possible upon delivery/receipt.
Plants, Food & Personal Care
Certain gift items cannot be returned, like fresh plants, food and personal care goods (such as beauty products and earrings). Exchanges can be accepted case-by-case, assuming the item is returned in its original state and has not been opened, damaged or worn.
We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
All Other Giftware
For all our other non-perishable giftware, outside of the above-aforementioned categories, we have a 30-day return and exchange policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange. Original shipping/courier costs are non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at shop@limetreebower.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping/courier costs for returning any items
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
